# Curriculum illustration credits

Words and Phrases use individually selected **Mulberry Symbols**, originally drawn by Garry Paxton and maintained by Steve Lee, with teaching compositions by Tahmid English Club. All 448 output files, exact original URLs, authors, licences, modifications and SHA-256 hashes are recorded individually in [curriculum-attributions.json](curriculum-attributions.json).

Adapted illustrations are shared under [CC BY-SA 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/). Credit the creators and Tahmid English Club, link the licence, identify changes, and distribute adapted illustrations under the same licence. No endorsement is implied. These terms apply to the adapted illustration files, not automatically to unrelated site material.

Modifications include selection, cropping where indicated, scaling, scenes and sequences, backgrounds, labels, teaching cues, metadata sanitisation and SVG identifier namespacing. No artwork was taken from Global Crown and no AI image generation was used.

Ten original colour and shape drawings contain no third-party artwork and are dedicated under [CC0 1.0](https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/). The 32 Phonics diagrams in `src/phonics-visuals.js` are original Tahmid English Club illustrations of mouth placement, sound contrasts, stress and linking.

To reproduce Words/Phrases assets, obtain the pinned Mulberry source and run `MULBERRY_SOURCE=/path/to/EN node scripts/build-curriculum-art.mjs`. Curated maps and teaching cues are in the public project source under `scripts/`.

Students can access credits from `/illustration-credits.html`. Music has separate credits in `assets/audio/ambient/LICENSE.md` and `/music-credits`. Natural-speech software and corresponding source are documented in `docs/source-notices/README.md`.
